Dr. Sammer UƖ Hassan

Dr. Sammer UƖ Hassan is a Founder and Director of Dr. Hassan Tutoring. He is highly motivated tutor with an experience of 12 years providing chemistry tuition. He has gathered a team of experienced academics to provide quality tutoring that is unique and different from standard tuition centres. Dr. Hassan gained BSc (Hons) degree from University of Hull, UK (Ranked 59th in UK, The Guardian Ranking 2023) and a PhD degree from University of Southampton, UK (Ranked 16th in UK, The Guardian Ranking 2023. He was a post-doctoral fellow for couple of years at University of Southampton before starting an Assistant Professor position at University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong (Top 26th QS World University Rankings). He also briefly studied at Imperial College London, UK (Ranked 5th in UK, The Guardian Ranking 2023).

Dr. Hassan achieved Professional Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (CETL, The University of Hong Kong) and have experience as a Course Coordinator, Class Teacher, Project Supervisor, Teaching Assistant and Lab Demonstrator at Schools and Universities. He provides chemistry tuition for GCSE, IGCSE, A level, IB chemistry, Foundation chemistry and University General chemistry courses. He was awarded the Best Chemistry Student award from the University of Hull, UK. He authored 20-plus publications with around 1000 citations. He is a member of Royal Society of Chemistry, MRSC. He is also an Education and Research Consultant and provide services including but not limited to subjects' selection guide for GCSE students, university admissions and course selection guides to A-Level students, Thesis and Dissertation guides to university students, publications and journal selection, Research and Innovation Consultancy etc.
