Tuition in Acocks Green for Every Stage — from Primary to A-Level

At our Acocks Green tuition centre on Warwick Road (B27), we help students across Hall Green, Shirley, Olton, Yardley, Sparkhill and the wider south-east Birmingham area build confidence, fill gaps in understanding, and achieve the grades they are capable of. Lessons are led by qualified, subject-specialist tutors — including our Head Tutor, Dr. Sammer Ul Hassan (BSc, PhD, MRSC), who personally teaches A-Level Chemistry from this centre.

What we teach at Acocks Green

• Primary (Y1–Y6) & SATs: English, Maths and Science built around the national curriculum, with a focus on core skills and confidence.
• 11+ preparation: Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, Maths and English for grammar school entrance. 80% of our recent 11+ students received grammar school offers.
• KS3 (Y7–Y8): catch-up and stretch in English, Maths and Science before GCSE choices are made.
• Year 9 GCSE Launchpad & GCSE (Y10–Y11): Maths, English and all three Sciences, structured around your child’s exam board (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) with intensive past-paper practice and exam technique. Our GCSE programme was named Best GCSE School Tutoring Service 2026 – Birmingham at the Private Education Awards.
• A-Level: Chemistry taught personally by Dr. Sammer, plus 1-to-1 support in Maths, Biology and Physics. Students have moved from grades C/D to A/A* with us.

How it works

Every student starts with a free initial assessment so we can identify exact gaps and set a realistic target. Lessons are small-group, two-hour sessions with homework, regular progress reports and parent feedback included. One-to-one tuition is also available for students who need fully personalised support, including SEND learners. Fees are transparent — from £16.50/week on our long-term primary plans, with sibling discounts (10% off the second child, 15% off the third+) and instalment options.
